Altai Republic presented its tourist brand

The Republic of Altai presented the region’s tourist brand on June 9. The event, which took place at the TASS press center, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the republic’s government Alexander Prokopyev and First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Altai Republic Olga Filipenkova.

“The Altai Republic has got its own official brand. The brand “Altai” will mark the verified, verified tourist facilities and services of the republic – on the tour operator’s website, on the entrance group of accommodation facilities, on the packaging of local gastronomic goods or souvenirs. Already now 391 accommodation facilities from the unified federal register, 45 tour operators, 247 certified tour guides and guides-interpreters can receive this mark”, – said Alexander Prokopyev.

In turn, Olga Filipenkova, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Altai Republic, noted that the brand is not only a visual code, but also a tool of interaction, organically scaled from cultural events and natural routes to gastronomic tourism and educational formats.

In recent years, tourist flow to the Altai Republic has grown by more than 50%. In 2024, 2.77 million guests visited the region. It is expected that this year the number of tourists will increase by 5-7%.
