Decree on declaring June 11, 2025 as the Day of National Holiday “Birthday of Shakyamuni Buddha”
In accordance with Part 7 of Article 4 of Federal Law No. 125-FZ of September 26, 1997 “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations”, Article 1 of Law No. 156-III-Z of the Republic of Kalmykia of October 13, 2004 “On Holidays and Commemorative Days in the Republic of Kalmykia”, for the purpose of further development of national and cultural traditions of the Kalmyk people, I hereby decree:
To declare June 11, 2025 as the Day of National Holiday “The Birthday of Shakyamuni Buddha”.
