Tourist flow from Russia to Abkhazia will increase
The President of the Abkhaz Union of Tourism Anna Kalyagina told NSN that the average annual increase in tourists is 6-7%, but this year the figures may improve.
Abkhazia expects the tourist flow from Russia to increase by 20% in the summer of 2025, but so far only 60% of the room stock has been booked, the President of the Abkhaz Union of Tourism Anna Kalyagina told NSN.
Direct flights to Abkhazia will appear from another region. Thus, the airline “RusLine” will open a flight program to Sukhum from Saratov from June 28. Flights will be carried out twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, until October 25. President Anna Kalyagina noted that the season in the region has not yet begun in full force. Air Arabia cancels flights to Russia until June 20
Update! Air Arabia Extends Cancellation of Regular Flights to Russia Until June 30
Amid the escalating situation in the Middle East, Air Arabia has cancelled all flights to Russia until June 20 inclusive, the company’s website reports.
